KAREN LIS
Karen’s career as a Makeup Artist began in the late 1980’s and her passion for makeup and passing on her knowledge has only increased in all of these years. Karen’s career has included working with many photographers & filmmakers, Karen also worked for the iconic makeup brand DIOR meeting & working with many celebrities as well as working on various Film, TV and Editorial shoots Karen was a trainer at various prestigious beauty schools across Australia, which in turn and inevitably prompted Karen to begin ICON School of Makeup in the early 2000’s.
Although Karen no longer actively teaches in the school, She still acts our alumni mentor to the hundreds of student who have completed icon over the last 20 years.

WADE AMBLER
Wade is the one of the Owners of ICON School Of Makeup and has worked in the hair and makeup industry since 2003 Wade trained at icon back in 2008 and has since gone on to win Awards such as IMATS beauty makeup artist of the year and has worked on shoots and runway shows all over Australia and at events such as New York Fashion week, Miss Universe In the Bahamas as well as backstage with Lady Gaga.

BEC GARRETT
Bec is a mother of 3 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications and media arts as well as a masters degree in education.
Bec is an award winning icon alumni and has worked at Napoleon Perdis as well as being the studio coordinator at The Makeup Studio.
For sometime was a dedicated primary and special needs teacher, Bec has since combined her passion for makeup and education by becoming ICONS head trainer

SEAN FULLERTON
Trainer
Sean has been working in the industry for over 12 years and is also an icon alumni.
He has extensive experience working weddings and events as well as working as an education interstate for NAK HAIR AUSTRALIA
He has experience with competitions such as beauty expo and his makeup work has been featured in magazines and on screen on multiple occasions. Sean has a huge passion for kit condensing and organisation and loves sharing his tips and tricks with the students to help them lessen their load and make them work as efficient as possible

COURTNEY BARBEN
Courtney is an ICON alumni who has experience working in cosmetic retail such as Priceline and Mecca she has worked on a multitude of photoshoots, short films and music videos.
Courtney is a makeup contractor for WAK the salon as well as working as a freelance artist, Courtney is a true all rounder whether it be bridal, special effects, character looks, colourful and euphoria themed makeup Courtney can truly do it all.

Tiah is an Icon Alumni, Qualified Beauty Therapist and Hairdresser, along with a big clientele for wedding and event makeup Tiah also has a plethora of experience working in all aspects of the industry such as working on magazine editorials, Covers ,Runway shows such as Sydney Fashion week and doing makeup for National Cosmetics campaigns and editorials.
Tiah has an immense passion for healthy skin and loves implementing this is her teaching methods
