This course is designed to give people who are currently studying or working full time the opportunity of acquiring skills as a makeup artist. We understand life gets busy so we have tailored our course to work around your work/life schedule.

We offer a 18 Week Course Monday and Wednesday 6-9pm.

 

The course is delivered in a class-room setting through demonstration, detailed instructions with hands on guidance.

The classroom is designed to simulate working as a makeup artist and we help build professional workplace behaviours and practices throughout the course.

 

The Makeup Artistry Course covers a broad range of subjects that allow the student to potentially achieve employment in many areas of the industry such as freelance makeup, working on weddings & fashion photoshoots as well as working as a makeup artist for film and television. The opportunities within the makeup industry are vast and the industry can offer you an exciting career with dedication and determination to give it a go.

 

Many of our students have built careers in all areas of the industry including Bridal and Events, Film and TV, Magazines and Advertising, Special Effects, Theatre and Stage Production, Retail in stores such as MAC, MECCA, Napoleon Perdis and Sephora with some of our graduates working as a makeup artist for Sydney and New York Fashion Weeks.

 

Build a Knock-Out Portfolio. Your photo shoots with our in-house photographers give you a portfolio of work, ready to promote your newly learned skills. This, along with continued support from ICON trainers, mentors and graduates, is what you need to take your career to the next level and beyond.
